    6. In the Search field, type the name of malware. Then, right-click and Reset values for found Preferences.

    9. Delete Sweetpacks Toolbar and Search Extensions from Firefox

      a. In Mozilla Firefox Internet browser, navigate to Tools-> Add-ons from the list. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+A on your keyboard to access this.

      b. Once the Add-ons manager is open, select Extensions from the sidebar and find the Sweetpacks related extensions or any other unknown extensions for you to unleash the Firefox from risks. Select the targeted extensions and click Remove button. Click OK to save the settings and close the window.

    1. Launch Google Chrome and click the Customize and Control Google Chrome icon, which is embodied by a wrench icon or a 3-bar icon, and then navigate to Settings.

    2. There will open a tab on setting details. Locate the Search area and click Manage search engines… button .

    3. It will show a list of Search engines including the default one. There please mouse-over to your preferred search engine and click Make default. And then find the related search engine of Sweetpacks and mouse-over that item and click on the X mark to remove it.

    4. Back to the Settings detailed window, find the On startup area, click on Open a specific page or set of pages.

    5. On Add a new page box, please type your desired home page address if you prefer to. Then click OK to save the change and close the window.

    6. To d elete Sweetpacks Toolbar and Search extension, click on extensions tab, which just on the top of Settings tab in the opened window, and there will come a list of all installed extensions. Find Sweetpacks related extensions there.

    7.On the right panel of the window, Disable/Delete (Trash) Sweetpacks Toolbar and Search extensions.

    8. Then after repairing the homepage and removing search engine and the extension, you still need to delete browsing data for the sake of more safety. Back to the Chrome settings page, this time click the History tab, which just on the top of Extensions, and then click on the Clear browsing data… to open a clear browsing data window in details and choose the items just as below picture shows, and then click clear browsing data to remove all and close the window. That’s it.

    9. Close Google Chrome and then reopen it to check out. Everything would be all right for now.
