Windows OS? Could you name the other system as well? When did this start to occur?

Hi Sarah rats is Here lol

what operating system are you running ? and are they 64 bit and 32 ? or is it win 7 ? or Xp ?

Sounds like your are having a system failure on one operating system.

First lets deal the restart. you may have to do this on both systems
log in to your pc as normal right clicking on My Computer, go advanced system settings goto
start up and recovery , click settings look under system failure untick the box. :D

Hello Sarah,

Your problem has noting to do with double system.

I guess you must make Windows XP as the default system, when there's problem with XP, or if the systems destroy something released by memory, the system will automatically restart.
When you shut down your computer, the system need the release memory, when the system memory release failed or some problem happened during the release, the Windows XP will take this as a problem, and then it will automatically restart. After restarting, the system is clean, and there’s nothing to prevent the system to shut down, so you can close your computer successfully this time.

My way to solve the problem: click "My computer"---》property---》advanced---》Startup and
Recovery---》Setting, remove the hook from the "Automatic Restart" option.

If you need to completely solve the problem, you need to fix your system with problem, such as
Windows XP.

Almostly, this problem will not happen to windows 7 system.

Hi Sarah and Ivy

+ 1 Ivy :D

Sarah Windows XP is the most likely cause of your issue and will most likely cause other issues over time,
you are better off with just win 7also you might have error reports building up on your system because of this issue,
I would suggest you run c cleaner on both xp and windows 7.
