False positive: Anvi Smart Defender 2 PRO detects a troyan

Postby MacPeter » 2014-04-14 11:53

Hi,

I've just installed Anvi Smart Defender 2 PRO. I am also using Spyware Terminator as scanner and Smart Defender 2 Pro considers Spyware Terminator Update.exe as a troyan. I'd like to know whether it's a false positive or not...thanks for your help.

Hi MacPeter,

This should be a false positive. Could you please send us the detail detection information that we can remove the false
detection from our database as soon as possible.

Thanks for your answer. I wanted to do it but the problem seems to have disappeared. As soon as it comes back I'll comme back to you.
I've just another question. The information your're looking for is to be found in "Logs"?

I have Windows 7 Home Edition SP1 64 bits

Unfortunately I could not manage to do as you suggested. For the time being I am giving you those lines because those logs seem to be also full of errors. I wonder what went wrong? As I am trying out from time to time "new" software I'd like to know whether those lines are really false-positives or not. And that's why I am going to try to get those logs to you.

hI,

Sorry to have taken so long but I have a problem with the pro version. The license code should be valid until december 2015 and suddenly I keep getting the following message: this license code has been banned??? It has been your giveaway. So for the time being I don't have time to take care of the troyans.

I'm doing a scan on my sons laptop and got a whole list of threats.
1) One of these is about LolClient.exe listing it as a trojan. Could this be a false positive?
My son plays this game every day.
2) Another is about ADWCleaner.exe, also as a trojan. Could this be a false positive?

Thanks for your help.
